Personal Travel Interests: I’m in love with this city and with USA in general. I love the majesty, the greatness, the thousand differences and the different cultures that made this country one of the most beautiful places on earth.
Favorite Experience in NYC: I had a chance to take a group of people on a tour who were interested in the American college experience. I took them to Columbia University during graduation days and they were thrilled to see students wearing togas! I was happy to share info and details about the American education system and Ivy League universities.
Getting Personal: I very much enjoyed giving a tour to one family in particular last September. They told me in advance that one of their three kids had an important assignment for school to do about how NYC was born. I took this family downtown Manhattan, and we visited Wall Street and the Financial District in detail. I came very well prepared with pictures about New Amsterdam and what Manhattan looks like in the past before the Dutch came. I was able to capture the interest of this curious child and their siblings for three hours! He took even notes about my speech and he was very happy at the end of our tour. I was very happy because I was able to satisfy their needs….and I had a GREAT time.
