Personal Travel Interests: I don’t often leave NYC, but I have travel interests in the city itself! A trip to the Cloisters uptown, the Coney Island or Bushwick murals, or the recesses of Central Park is like a mini-vacation. It’s wonderful to feel like I’ll never exhaust what the city has to offer.
Favorite Experience in NYC: There’s nothing better than walking into a commercial gallery or museum and having your thinking changed by an artwork or an idea. Artists see the world in radically different ways, stepping outside of everyday life to rethink the world and our times. What a treat to tap into their vision and have my thinking challenged and inspiration renewed.
What I Like The Most About NYC: I appreciate the ‘New York Minute.’ Anything can happen and nothing holds still as we move around the city before during and after a tour. The best thing about loving art and living in New York is that you can always see world-class exhibitions in a museum or gallery and in different parts of town.
