Dive into cultures from around the world during your expedition into Chinatown and Little Italy. Depart your hotel and head to Little Italy to explore traditional Italian establishments, some of which have been opened since the 1800s. After you fill up on cannoli’s, you’ll head over to Chinatown where you’ll dive head first into the Chinese culture. The immersive neighborhood is full of authentic Chinese décor, traditional cuisine, and exploding with one-of-a-kind shops. During the tour of the two neighborhoods, you’ll see Mulberry Street, Canal Street, Mott Street, Five Points, Columbus Park, Mahayana Buddhist Temple, and First Shearith Israel Graveyard.
Following your morning, you’ll head to SoHo for an afternoon in the most stylish district in Manhattan. What once started out as a small village is now one of the wealthiest in the city. Transport back in time with the old cast iron buildings from the mid-1800s and the cobblestone streets. During your tour, you’ll visit two of SoHo’s notable art galleries, including the Earth Room. After the gallery visit, you’ll head uptown to visit NoLita – which is Northern Little Italy. The area is home to the old St. Patrick’s Cathedral and known for the infamous murder of Elma Sands, also known as the “Ghost of Spring Street.”
A stop for lunch will be included on the tour.
