Washington DC Circle of Power Private Tour
Within the boundaries of Washington DC lie the executive branch, legislative branch and judicial branch of our government. You’ll experience all three to the fullest thanks to our comprehensive Washington DC Circle of Power Private Tour via luxury vehicle.
You’ll start at the White House where, from your vantage point on Pennsylvania Avenue, you’ll get a great view of the exterior of its north side, while your guide relates the long history of the Executive Mansion.
From there you will head to the Capitol Building, home to the United States Congress. Your official tour here will include a short film, “Out of Many, One,” about representative democracy and its creation. You’ll also view the Crypt, the Rotunda (dome interior) and National Statuary Hall while hearing about some of the buildings surprising secrets.
Your next stop will be the Jefferson Building of the Library of Congress. The building is certainly a masterpiece of art and architecture but the jewel in its crown is the view from the overlook into the stunning main reading room. (It also happens to be home to a handwritten copy of the Bible from 1450 as well as rare books from Thomas Jefferson’s collection!)
Your tour concludes at the Supreme Court, aka America’s Temple of Justice, where you’ll learn about it’s judicial functions, the responsibilities of the judges and hear some of their remarkable stories.
(Note: Interior tours of the White House and US Capitol can only be reserved through guests’ Senators, members of Congress, or Embassy offices. If access inside is not available for reasons out of our control, guests will learn about the buildings from the exterior).
